Itinerary description
From the Teiser Alpl hut we put our via ferrata gear on straight away and you head up to the peak on the left immediately.
It starts off with a steep up hill climbing section with ropes. Once you hit the top you literally walk along the ridge of the mountains for the rest of the way.
There are some tricky downhill sections after the first peak and a few parts that require using your hands to crawl over narrow rocky sections.
This via ferrata is not for the faint-hearted. We took our time going very slow and carefully. After the first peak it's mostly downhill until you get below the second peak.
There is a steep uphill section to the peak that is connected by lots of ropes. You'll have lovely views at the top.
Head towards the Bolzano hut on the plateau and when you hit the T junction turn right towards the tourist path.
It's well marked and maintained. It's about 1.5 hours to the Schlernbodele hut where we stopped for lunch.
Then it's about 1 hour through beautiful forest to Seis town. There are many spots to rest along the way and a lovely river too.
