Circular walk from the free parking along the A4085 over the Nantle Ridge and down into Cwm Dwyfor. Then back again through the remains of the Prince of Wales quarry. After the decent to Cwm Dwyfor there is no clear track but head for the start of the incline on the west side of the valley and follow it from there to the old track of the tramway. Follow the tramway to the rock cutting after which you enter the Prince of Wales quarry. Beautiful views all along including Snowdon from the Rhyd Ddu side.
