This is a hike along the Niagara Escarpment that is small portion of the much longer Bruce Trail. Paths are well marked, footing is great, not much change in elevation and some pretty nice vistas. We went on a beautiful day in December so there were not many leaves on the trees (mainly deciduous with some pine and cedar) and met several groups enjoying the trail. There is a parking area at the start of the trail and it is accessed off Quarry Rd (just north of Ridge Rd).

Several special views over looking Lake Ontario and also the ravine for Forty Mile Creek (named for the distance from Niagara River). We didn't get a really good view of Beamer Falls, but you could continue a few hundred meters farther on the west side of the Forty Mile ravine and there is a park there with a better viewpoint.

Without migrating birds the viewing tower is a major disappointment (resist the urge to climb it.. unless you want the exercise). The other oddity was the feeling that you got a free hill top view without having to do a climb (we drove up and down the escarpment). Overall an easy hike with some great views.
