Really nice walk overall as usual some stunning views. I particularly enjoyed clambering up to the summit of Slievenaglogh amid all the ripe bilberry bushes, and the little path along the western side of Lough Shannagh.
On the return leg, after descending Slieve Muck by the wall we forked right beside another wall to take a short cut back to the Banns Road. However, this was after a prolonged dry spell, and usually this route would be very boggy, so it's usually better instead to continue straight ahead (directly towards Slievenaglogh) to reach the Banns Road.
