A 45 mile loop - 9 day, 8 night backpack across Obstruction Ridge, down into the Gray Wolf, over into Dose Meadows. Back over Lost Pass to Cameron Pass. Side hilled over to Lake Lillian then bushwacked from Lake Lillian to the saddle in front of Glady's Lake. Dropped down then ascended Lillian ridge via the trail from Moose Lake. An alternate route would entail the Lillian ridge out instead of dropping down into Grand Valley.
The camp at Gray Wolf is OK not great. If you camp here go to the 'island' in-between the creek (cross the first foot bridge then go left). there is a better spot to the left of the trail here.
The best way over to Lillian is to contour around to the northwest from just below Cameron Pass at around 6200'. Stay on the grassy benches, making your way around several basins. Once you are in the basin on the other side of the pass from Lake Lillian, just go up the scree and talus field then hit the woods just to the left below the pass. you will then come out to the real pass to get into Lake Lillian basin. We went higher and it involved a lot more work, as you have to contour around the inside of each basin on talus and scree. Stay lower on the grassy bench just above the tree line
