I drove to the 'PARK' waypoint and rode up to 'Trailhead', the gravel road ends here and single track begins. After about 600' there is a sign high on a tree that says "no bicycles or motorcycles beyond this point". The Tish Tang trail takes off to the right just before the sign. The trail is seldom traveled, rough, and non-technical. Not worth the effort to get there in my opinion. It dumps you on an old road that climbs gently back to the way you came. Figured 'Shale' and the Upper Downhill sections would be similar so I skipped them. Rolled down to 'Roller TOP' and that's where the fun started! This was a great trail with lots of variety and character, highly recommend. You pop out on the original gravel road, hang a right and find the start of the Lower DH. This is an old motorcycle trail but it's not overly steep and has some nice swooping corners, but I thought the best part was the kind of alien landscape that was whizzing by. You descend through a forest of tall leaf trees with long bare trunks with a canopy so dense there is no sun hitting the ground.

If you go, I would recommend skipping the Tish Tang and doing the Roller and Lower DH twice ;)

Due to recent logging the start of the trail is hard to see. If you spot a large tree with a burned out hollow near the ground the trail can be picked up maybe 50-100 feet below it. Then not much further along the trail gets hard to spot again, just look for the pile of garbage and you will be back on course.
